Meet one of my first frogs. A buddy told me of a cheap ’67 for sale at the Pomona Swap Meet and I hurried over to check it out. He was right. It was cheap, but even at $1,800 it wasn’t much of a bargain. Every panel was screwed up, the floors were gone and zero parts came with the car. Since nobody thought to reinforce the car before cutting out the floors it also had a really “cool” sag in the midsection. The fender louvers were just an embarrassing bonus.
