Whenever I was doodling during a high school class, there was a pretty consistent theme amongst my hot rod sketches: big back tires, skinny fronts, and a blower poking out of the hood. The Pro Touring look is much more popular now, and I felt like I needed to draw something with a more vintage slant to it. With that in mind, I drew up this Funny Car-inspired Camaro for the street.

This 1967 would have traditional touches and cues from the late-1960s. A kicked-out front end, slanted nose, tweaked windshield and roof, extended rockers, and opened-up rear wheelwells add up to a ton of work, but retains a lot of the essentials that make it a Camaro. Baffled zoomies keep the sound down while still serving their purpose. Keep the detailing simple, keep it nasty, and you'll have one heck of a Camaro.
