When our turn came to get on the lift we got busy trying to install a bigger front sway bar. Unfortunately the 1.25-inch, 34-inch-wide bar wasn’t a direct replacement for the 1-inch, 34-inch-wide solid bar we were taking off—it was too short. We also wanted to get a rear sway bar on the car, but it would have to be custom made and we just ran out of time. Oh well, looks like we will be doing the “run what ya brung” deal. We also ran out of time and couldn’t preload the shocks to negate some of the crossweight issues, but at least we were able to double check all the bolts to make sure everything was secure.
