We’ve all had cars that we regretted selling. Such is the case with Gerald Gregory. Back in the 70s he owned a super cool big-block ’69 Pace Car but later made the decision to sell it. Over time he realized how much he missed the car so when he recently came across the car again, and saw it was for sale, he snatched it back. Call it a second chance at his muscle car dreams.

Unfortunately, time hadn’t been kind to the once proud F-body, so he hauled the carcass over to Chris Nash, owner of Precision Rod and Custom, in Sevierville, Tennessee. According to Chris the car was a mess and the first order of business was to strip it down and install a one-piece floor along with new quarters. After a ton of bodywork TLC, the Camaro was shot in the proper shades of white and orange. The big-block 396, four-speed, air-conditioned car is fairly rare, so it’s being put back into original shape. To see more shots of the restoration, visit www.precisionrod.com
