But it wasn’t that easy. The Lingenfelter knock sensor extension harness wasn’t designed to work with the new LS3-style knock sensors. Now, we could have pulled the intake off the LS1 and harvested the two sensors, but it was easier to just call up the local auto parts store and order up a couple (PN SU1282, $47 each). Also note that they don’t screw into the same holes as the LS3 sensors and instead use two of the unused holes found on the sides of the LS3 block.
